STEP 1: CONSULTATION (15-20min)

HD Brows & Co Artist go through a thorough consultation before starting the microblading procedure. This is where we’ll have you fill out the consent form and get to know you and your brow lifestyle. We believe the consultation is an important part of the procedure! During the consultation, we examine your shape and ask you a few questions about your daily routine, what you like or don’t like and/or how you normally draw on your eyebrows to get an idea of the client’s unique style.. You’re welcome to to bring any brow inspiration photos you may have and we’ll discuss your shape preferences and brow pigment color.

 

STEP 2: SHAPE

BROW MAPPING (20-30 MIN)

Using our measuring tools, we measure all the points of the client’s face with a ruler to ensure symmetry and precision (brows are sisters not twins!) we’ll custom design a brow outline that’s best proportioned to your facial features. At this point we may ask you to smile, frown, talk and laugh so we can see how your mimic muscles move. The artist finds what she needs to make a perfect pair of eyebrows, she begins designing  based on the client’s natural eyebrow hair and their desired look, We’ll both review the design and make any adjustments necessary. Once the brows are approved, we’ll clean up the shape and fill those babies in!

 

STEP 3: NUMBING

We want to ensure your utmost comfort so we apply a topical numbing cream for 20 minutes before your procedure. We place it on top of the outline and cover it with saran wrap to seal in the numbing as much as possible.

 

STEP 4: COLOR 

Once our client approves the shape drawn, a color is selected among the artist and client. Our artist will swatch colors on the forehead based on their natural eyebrow color and the client’s unique style.

 

STEP 5: MICROBLADING

(1.5 – 2 HOURS)

Your brows are ready to begin their transformation! Only after the client has approved the shape, color and the numbing is completed, then we proceed with the microblading procedure. That's when the magic happens! This is where we draw each individual hair by inserting pigment in the uppermost layer of the skin using a tiny handheld tool with a blade made of microneedles. Numbing is applied throughout the procedure to ensure the utmost comfort. We only use sterile and disposable tools and are compliant with all regulations by the Kern County health department. Each brow design is unique in the sense that no two natural eyebrows are the exactly same. Our shapes will be as symmetrical as they can be for your face, but to achieve the most natural look, the hair strokes may vary slightly per brow.

 

STEP 6: REVEAL

Once the microblading procedure is complete, the big reveal happens. We show our client their new beautiful set of eyebrows and ask the client if they would like to make any adjustments before they leave. We pride ourselves on customer satisfaction so we always make sure you walk out the door happy.

 

STEP 7: TOUCH UP ( at 6 weeks) Perfection Session is Performed

All microblading and permanent makeup is a multisession process, meaning, touch ups are necessary. Think of this as the second coat of nail polish, the first one is alright, but the second one seals the deal. This session is done 6 weeks after the initial procedure. At this session, our client and artist will go over any concerns they may have had during the healing, fill in any areas that may have faded or simply go thicker or darker than the first time! We go conservative on the first session to ensure the client is satisfied so adding on the touch up is a piece of cake! Again, steps 1-6 are followed on the touch up and make sure the client leaves satisfied.

 

AFTERCARE

We made it! Your brows are now ready for the world! We will review after care instructions with you and provide you with an aftercare kit that includes everything you’ll need for the initial healing period of 7-10 days. It’s vital that you adhere to the aftercare instructions to achieve the best results and retention for your brows. We wouldn’t want to waste all that time and TLC we just invested into them!
